About Us
GERMANY: The work of Shelter for Africa in Europe, and in Germany specifically, is to organise Seminars, Workshops and Public Events to get the message out to the population about the plight of the people in Sierra Leone, especially its women and children.

Through our public relations efforts we solicit donations and financial support for our projects in Sierra Leone. In May 1999 Shelter for Africa organised a benefit concert in Hamburg at the Markthalle. We got the message out to thousands and raised money towards our projects.

In October 2000 Shelter for Africa organised a conference (“The Heart of the Matter”) at the Evangelical Academy in Hamburg for NGOs, Sierra Leoneans, and interested groups.

Between 1999 and 2001, Shelter for Africa donated prosthetics and about 500 lens glasses to the Ministry of Health of Sierra Leone.
